The Trinidad & Tobago Bureau of Standards ( TTBS) is a body corporate established on July 8th, 1974 and now governed by the authority of the Standards Act No. 18 of 1997. TTBS operates under the aegis of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. It has a statutory responsibility for the quality of goods and services, which are subject to trade in the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago, except food, drugs, cosmetics.
Cari Bois is a national community that brings together communities, activists, academics, scientists and journalists, to tell their own stories around the environmental impact of the extractive sector in Trinidad and Tobago, and wider irresponsible development.
The Cari-Bois National Environmental News Network was developed as part of the project CSOs For Good Environmental Governance, which was supported by the European Union (EU) during the period 2018 - 2020 and can under no circumstances be regarded as reflecting the position of the European Union.
